This hostel is more than just a hostel. It is located within easy walking distance from the main train and bus stations and right next to the river that runs through the city.

The facilities in the room can be described as basic but they are enough for what a weary traveller needs. A comfortable bed in a reasonably sized room with ensuite toilet and shower facilities. Each room has TV and air conditioning for no extra charge.

About Guilin Riverside Hostel

Guilin Riverside Hostel is a villa hostel which is located on the scenic riverside of downtown Guilin, next to the famous Nanmen bridge and beside the peach blossom river.

We have a wonderful location!It is about ten minutes walk from the train station and about five minutes walk from the bus station to our hostel. It takes about ten minutes to go to the famous Elephant Trunk Hill ,the city sightseeing and the shopping place from our hostel!

Our Hostel can assist with all your requests, including, tour bookings & tickets,'at cost' pick-up from the airport .

All the rooms our hostel offers have air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms & TV,comfortable bed ,both in every room with western toilets! Internet access with free WIFI,bicycle rental, laundry service ,city sightseeing guidance and more.

This hostel is more than just a hostel. It is located within easy walking distance from the main train and bus stations and right next to the river that runs through the city.

The facilities in the room can be described as basic but they are enough for what a weary traveller needs. A comfortable bed in a reasonably sized room with ensuite toilet and shower facilities. Each room has TV and air conditioning for no extra charge.

What really made the stay such a pleasant experience was the staff. Always willing to help answer any question or query you have and often going above and beyond their normal duties.

A special thanks has to go to Stephanie and ShanShan who helped us sort out our onward travel arrangements for no personal reward. No small thing when they must have spent nearly an hour going through the options with us.

I thoroughly recommend staying here and have to say it was the best of the 6 different places we stayed at during our trip to China.

Guilin Riverside Hostel, No.6 Zhumu Xiang , Nanmen Bridge, Guilin, Guangxi, 541002, China
From the train station:exit the station then turn left in the direction of Nanmen Bridge (Nanmen Qiao in Chinese). After 5-10 minutes walking toward the bridge, cross the bridge then turn left ,you will find us . Our place is less then one kilometer away from the train station so we don't suggest taking any transportation.

From airport, take the airport shuttle to CAAC station, which is the last stop, then take a taxi to our hostel. The taxi costs 8 RMB and takes 8 minutes, Alternatively you may take a taxi directly to our hostel from the airport, or call us for pick up. Airport pick up costs 90RMB for 4 people a car(if you are less than 4 people you also have to pay 90RMB or if more than 4 people we'll charge you 30RMB for per person)

From the Guilin long distance bus station, exit the bus station and turn left. Walk for one minute and when approaching the bridge, cross the bridge,then turn left and you will find us !
