I travelled with a friend and we were really happy about the accomodation and service we were offered. The apartment was in an excellent location (in the heart of the city: the Diocletian Palace), functional and very cozy! Would definitely recommend it.

APARTMENT KATE
Apartment Kate is located in the narrow center of the Split's historic core, The Diocletian's palace. It is located exactly in the palace, on the corner of the Riva and the old market, which offers, besides the amazing views, a location perfect for all of the benefits which the center of the town and the Diocletian's palace offers to tourists. All views of transportation gets you at less than 5 minutes on foot to the apartment.
Itself, it is an apartment of approximately 75m2, and it has 2 separate bedrooms and a living room which converts to a king size bed bedroom if needed and it offers comfortable staying for 4 people or more.
It is recently redecorated and luxuriously equipped.
It has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, a huge balcony with an amazing view, a hi-fi audio system, digital satellite television, fast internet, PC, DVD, VCR, air conditioning, microwave, washing machine, etc.. all the necessary things for a comfortable and careless stay.
We also provide guarded parking space in front of the building, and are open to any other requests.
APARTMENT ANTE
Apartment Ante is a luxuriously decorated studio apartment with a double bed located in the center of the town, inside the Diocletian's palace. It has an amazing view to the church bell tower and the old city. It is ideal for young married couples without children, or couples of any sort. Despite it's size, it has a fully functional kitchen and bathroom.
It also has air conditioning, flatscreen TV, HI-FI audio system, wireless intenet, fridge, working desk, wardrobe, microwave oven etc.
It also has access to the amazing historic Diocletian's tower balcony with an amazing view perfect for sunbathing or enjoying the amazing Split's panorama.
It's located in the strict center of the town, ideal for sightseeing and enjoying all the tourist benefits of Split. It is also located less than 5 minutes on foot from all the means of transportation which can get you to Split (ferry port, train station, bus station; airport bus terminal is practitly in front of the building).
The staff are young people, friendly and eager to do anything they can to ensure you a pleasent stay.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS OF THE APARTMENT ON THE SITE, you do not get that apartment!
We had booked apartment Kate for two nights, we knew the apartment and we knew the address from earlier years. I had the confirmation, BUT instead of Lukaciceva 5, we were brought to some small, uncomfortable, dirty apartment above a bar somewhere else. The women who brought us there did not know much about the apartment she brouhgt us into and gave us different reasons like douple booking, computer mistakes or some kind of "crash" (whatever it means here) as a reason why we could not go to Lukaciceva 5.
We never got real explanation for not getting what we had booked! The owner was on a business trip (very convenient) and could not speak with me and did not answer my calls or SMSs. He quickly gave me a number, and as I called this number there was somebody who did not know anything.
I really do not recommend apartment Kate to anyone. This is not the way to do business.

We are so sorry to hear that Apartment Kate did not offer you the accommodation you actually had booked. Since they are notified in triplicate of every booking made, they are certainly expected to be aware of all bookings and keep the rooms free! I can also see that this is the second case like this we've had in the past year with this property. I am therefore requesting this property to be inactivated if they can not provide a good reason for this.

I WOULD NOT BOOK WITH APARTMENT KATE AGAIN. We booked and payed for the four bed apartment and when we arrived, a family of four, we were put into two double rooms. THIS HAPPENED TWICE! The second overbooking was unacceptible. They had all our contact details to inform us that we were not getting what we booked and payed for, thus allowing us to make other arrangements. They again put us in two double rooms and after pressing them for an explanation, they told us that they had "over booked", and were "new to letting out rooms". Although the location is great and the two rooms clean, I would not recommend Apartment Kate because of their bad practice. We still got charged the higher rate as well, because we did'nt have the details of prices at hand. Not happy

Great apartment in a sensational location in Diocletian'sPalace. We loved it!

The place is located very well in old town - kind of inside of the Diocletian's palace. View from windows were to old town and you could go out to the terrace which was part of Diocletian's palace wall. Also owner family was very friendly and helpful. As two couples we only missed two double beds as there were sofa bed in living room and two rooms with single bed. If that's not an issue, then we really highly recommend this place! Spent one night. Brand new room, studio with kitchen, stove, all utensils, fridge, etc. Just great! In the palace, steps from Peristil Hotel. Nice owner. Most important, arrange a meeting place with the owner, it's hard to find. Very close to bus station, five flights up. Would definitely stay again.
