About Black Sheep Hostel
We`re within close distance to all of Cologne`s most beautiful sites - like the cathedral, museums and the river Rhine.
Our Hostel is the perfect place to step into Cologne`s abundant nightlife - within walking distance you`ll find all kinds of clubs, bars and inexpensive restaurants.
Feel more like relaxing? Our beautyfully designed rooms and our family style kitchen where you can prepare your food awaite you!
Supermarkets and all kinds of shopping possibilities are right around the corner.
From the main station it's very easy to find, only four stops by subway or 5 minutes by foot from the train station 'Cologne South' (Südbahnhof).
Every room is individually designed and we hope you'll enjoy the cosy atmosphere. Try the local beer (Kölsch!) and have a nice chat with other travelers while sitting on our terrace.
We want to make your stay in Cologne as pleasant as possible!

the reception is open from 8 am til 11:30 pm. If you will arrive later please let us know, we will arange something for you to get in.

The Black Sheep Hostel is closed during Christmas between 22nd - 28th December 2011.

RSSA great hostel experience (and my first!). Very friendly and accommodating staff, very clean rooms (bathrooms included). Lots of showers, including male- and female-only facilities. Good water pressure. Lockers in room require 1 euro deposit, big enough for a good sized backpack. Free Internet on the computer in the kitchen very nice for checking in with home!
The kitchen is a highlight of this hostel; breakfast is basic, but filling (toast and muesli, plus coffee and tea). There's plenty of room in the pantry and fridge for you to store your own food, too.
My only complaint is that there were a lot of traffic sounds until late into the night, as well as noise from people congregated outside the nearby McDonalds (late night Magnum McFlurries!). It's not too terrible, but if you're a super light sleeper, bring headphones or earplugs, or ask for a room away from the main street.

I was in a 8-bedroom, and the cleanliness, service, bed quality, facilities, are more than satisfaying for the price. Shower and toilet seemed to be cleaned every day, people are nice etc. Definitely suggest to anybody!

it's hard to find, but we have al very nice stay in black sheep hostel the rooms are great!!! we had the circusroom these was fine decorated. The hostel is near the heart of the city and you can walk to the cathedral and alll the wheinachtmarkten. We had a great stay in the black sheep hostel.
