It's a clean hostel, with perfectly acceptable beds, showers a bit weak. Just beware the check in time. Officially they c lose the reception desk at 7pm. Tried to charge us an extra 10 Euro for arriving late when i had arranged this with the management by phone. The woman in particular is a realy nasty one. Don't look into her eyes.

The YMCA Lübeck offers you inexpensive possibilities to spend the night in the middle of the Old Town of Lübeck. You can reach all places of interest per pedes from our „Hotel am Dom" in the Dankwartsgrube as well as from our SleepIN in the Große Petersgrube.

At the YMCA in Lübeck you are exactly right if you search an overnight – suitable for single travellers, pairs, families backpackers or groups. Ask us, we are glad about your visit.

If you wish more comfort but for low price choose our Hotel am Dom.

And if you search a good place for a school class or self-catering holidays you should choose our house in Groß Grönau, outside of town but easily reachable by bus or bike. More reasonably, more nicely and more comfortably it hardly goes. Convince yourselves!

Breakfast is not included (4,00 €/p.).

Latest arrival is at 8.00 o´clock pm.

If you will arrive later you have to call us before.

the best was the location, in the middle of the inner city. If you go by car there is a parkinghouse were you can park your car for 6 euros for 24 hours if you tell you are staying at YMCA. The rum is simple but very clean and ok for a short visit.
Minus is the service, the rather speak german instead of english and are not so serviceminded.
A nother minus is that they smoke by the door and it smells smoke when you come in, not so welcome.
