Absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for better hosts, a better price or a better location. Do not even question whether or not to stay here. Superb.

This was a fantastic Villa for me. Everyone wants different things, but if you want to be close to the people and culture, beaches then Perissa was all of that. This is family run... so Rula, her hubby and children are super accomodating and genuinely interested in making sure you enjoy your stay with lots of tips and helpful information.
You are within eye distance of the ancient ruins, church in the cliff and monastery. You can hike/climb to these places and makes for a fabulous adventure. There are different levels so something for everyone. You are close to the beach, buses, travel centre to take you on different excursions too.
If you are wanting a villa in the cliff-rockface though, this is not that kind of area, you need to go somewhere else.
I want to go back!!!
Thanks Villa Dimitrius

Villa Dimitris was awesome! Our time here was better than good.. We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. We had a private room that was cleaned everyday and Rula (the owner) was the lovliest lady. She helped us with everything, it felt like we were staying at our home away from home. Perissa the area where the Villa is situated is less touristy than other places and we enjoyed relaxing finding amazing spots that were quiet. We were picked up from the port by Costa, Rulas husband. We were then dropped off at the Port when we headed off to our next destination. We also met great people here and had a great time going out to dinner and having a drink. The Villa is a 2 minute walk to the beach and is nestled in the corner of Perissa next to a big mountain. Stay here if you want good value/Kindness/good relaxing location/cleanliness and a homely feel.

Villa Dimitris was a wonderful place to stay. The location at Perissa is great, close to the beach and the local bus line. It is a family run establishment and the staff is very helpful with whatever you need: bus/ferry info, renting scooters/4-wheelers, places to eat, etc. The rooms are very basic, but they get the job done. Many of the rooms come with a kitchen as well.

We stayed at Villa Dimitris for 6 nights in total and our first impressions of it being delightful continued on throughout our stay. The family that run the business will go out of their way to help and kindly collected us from the port and took us to the airport on our departure. They are always on hand to help and give advice and they sorted us out with a great deal for a car. The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard and the location right by the beach was perfect for what we wanted from our stay. The room was equiped with facilities to cook food and fridge! The water was always hot and TV working! We would definately recommend this as a great base to stay in order to explore the rest of the beautiful island. Thank you Rula family!! We stay in villa Dimitry only 3 days. The people are kind, the beach has a beautiful and clean sea, the restaurants are of good quality and no too expensive. We visit the rest of Santorini renting a quad. The visit to Santorini will be for us unforgettable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Dimitris, in fact we extended it for three more days than we had originally booked. The rooms and grounds are kept exceptionally clean and are tidied up every day. The rooms are modest and the shower is small, but if you're used to pensions then this is a great choice. The owners were super friendly and helpful, they provide free pick up and drop off at the airport or ferry which is great since they are kind of far from the pension. The wife speaks very good English and is more than happy to help you find the best things to do and see on the island. Each room opens onto a lovely courtyard with bougainvillea growing up the walls. Guests can sit outside and chat at tables (which isn't good for noise if you go to bed early but if you're on a Santorini schedule it's no problem). The pension is a five minute walk from the black sand beach and about ten minutes from a great bakery in the town of Perissa. While the town itself isn't as picturesque as Thira, it is much cheaper and fit our backpacking budget nicely. A bus goes into Thira every half an hour... it's 2 Euros/person each way so it's not cheap but I preferred being near the beach and going into town on occasion. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

We had some troubles with getting a ferry over to Santorini and ended up arriving a day early, at about midnight. They were able not only to accommodate us, but send down a shuttle so that we didn't have to rely on the bus system. The owner is a wonderfully helpful person who can answer questions about almost anything, and if she doesn't have the answer, she'll direct you where you need to go. The place was lovely and right near the beach. We stayed for 4 nights for about the same price as a single night in Firostefani, and the facilities were nicer. The only complaint I would have is the mattresses. You tend to feel every spring, which can make for a restless night.
