Little House Bakah

Our room faced a corridor where they had thoughtfully positioned a computer just outside the window and overlooking the bed to provide internet access to the guests meaning that privacy was non-existant. The room was pretty filthy with strangers hairs all over the bed.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The place looks charming: very much Mandatorial Jerusalem architecture, and located in a neighbourhood of similar look and "feel".

The room was tiny and insufficiently clean (ants all over, dirty carpets).
Breakfasts were fulfilling and served in the nice restaurant area.

There is not much garden area to speak of, in spite of pics provided.

The staff at reception was friendly, but did not seem clued up on how to get to places we enquired about. The specific receptionist seemed only interested in doing his admin job.

The rooms are spartan {there is television, air condition or heat} but very clean and there is always someone at the desk round the clock if you need something. In my case I needed help to lug my bags which Oded {the desk manager} did without my asking. The breakfast is not lavish, however, everything is very nicely laid out and seconds and thirds if you want it and I promise you won't go hungry. There is fresh fruit, assorted fresh vegetables, assorted hard and soft cheeses, fresh bread, fresh pastry in a warmer as well as scrambled eggs, also in warmer. Certainly there is butter, jams, cottage cheeses and other similar cheeses. There is orange, and grapefruit juices. Perked and an assortment of instant coffees as well as tea. Some folks take fruit, a pastry or a pudding for later. The real beauty is that there is a fridge in the lobby where you can store anything you'd like, water, food {just put your name on it} that pastry, etc. Across from the fridge is hot water, instant coffee, tea, condiments and milk in the fridge, no charge and available round the clock also. For lunch or diner the breakfast area becomes Polly's Italian Restaurant. I've been to Israel about 20 times and have eaten in many Italian Rataurants. Polly's is as good or better than any place in Jerusalem. I've also stayed at the Little House many times and have never been disappointed.
