About Squamish Inn on the Water

Internet Access

This is a new building completed in July 2003 which was built specifically to be the perfect hostel for Squamish. We are on the water and close to downtown, the climbing and the trails.

The hostel features a lounge with a fireplace, home theatre, patio and balcony and high speed internet access.

Your choice of rooms:

* Dorms sleeping up to 6

Squamish is an outdoor recreation paradise with rock climbing, bouldering, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, windsurfing, scuba diving, horesback riding, white water rafting, and more all close by. It is also close to Whistler and offers a good alternative to the high cost of staying there.

Directions

We are on Hwy 99 just south of the main intersection for Squamish.

If you are driving, turn at Cleveland Ave the main Squamish intersection with a McDonalds & 7-11. Turn away from town (right from Vancouver, left from Whistler). Turn right away and we are 150 metres straight ahead of you.

From the downtown Greyhound [$9 from Vancouver] stop, walk back to Cleveland Street [100m] [the main street in and out of Downtown]. Turn left and walk back to Highway 99 [300m]. Cross and turn right [south]. We are the large green building you see. This is maybe a 5 minute walk, if that.
