This "hotel" is best described as a grubby youth hostel for folks with a high tolerance for dirt and discomfort. The price is way too high for what you get. We arrived on a street that was out of a Fellini film -- my husband asked 'is this place $65 a night or an hour?!' Getting someone's attention at the door took 10 minutes and once inside we waited 45 minutes in the dark because the power was off. Lucky for us the manager took us to another location with power.

We arrived on a street that was out of a Fellini film -- my husband asked 'is this place $65 a night or an hour?!' Getting someone's attention at the door took 10 minutes and once inside we waited 45 minutes in the dark because the power was off. Lucky for us the manager took us to another location with power. Our tiny room was on the fourth floor, under the eaves. The bed was comfy enough but the bed spread was soiled and unusable and one of the shared bathroom doors did not close all the way. Could be nice with lots of paint, scrubbing, new fixtures and price restructuring!

This was more of a low-budget hotel than a hostel in my opinion and experience, therefore we had a very pleasant surprise when we checked in as far as the accommodation was concerned. It's not a place to meet people / fellow travellers though if that's what you are looking for. Adam was extremely friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back.

Directions
We located on the east corner of Dundas & Jarvis St.
- AIRPORT
Public Tran: Take TTC bus#192 from the airport to the subway station ($2.75), take the subway train to Dundas station, walk out of the subway heading East for about 5 minutes, we located one block east of Dundas/Jarvis St. intersection exactly in the back of Hilton Hotel.
Shuttle: Take the Airport Express Shuttle Bus ($16.50) to the Bond Place Hotel on Dundas St. East - which is the last stop (ask the driver). The hostel is only 3 minutes walk east on Dundas St, We located one block east of Dundas/Jarvis St. intersection exactly in the back of Hilton Hotel.
The Hostel Taxi: We provide our customers with a reasonable private airport picking up for only ($45)- including one group of up to five persons! Contact us to schedule.
- BUS TERMINAL
From Greyhound/ Coach Bay Bus terminal turns one block south on Bay to Dundas, turn left (east) on Dundas, walk for about 8 minutes on Dundas We located one block east of Dundas/Jarvis St. intersection, exactly in the back of Hilton Hotel
- UNION STATION
From Toronto Union Train station, take the subway ($2.75) to Dundas station, walk out, the hostel is only 5 minutes walk East on Dundas St. E. One block east of Dundas/Jarvis St. intersection. OR you can just directly keep walking from Union station to our guest house-about 20 minutes.
- DRIVING
1. Follow the highways exists toward Toronto downtown.
2. Take the Gardiner Express (QEW) & take the exit to Jarvis St- North.
3. Go 1.5 km north of Jarvis St., turn right on Dundas St.- go 0.1 km
4. Turn left & park your car on GEORGE ST - walk few steps north of Flimores Hotel
5. Arrive at 281a George St.
