Great location. Staff don't speak English but sign language made it all work. The room was clean, but the decor was a strange mix of (western) '70s curtains and walls, and Japanese tatami mats and cupboards - quite endearing once you got past the initial shock.

About Kyoubashi Ryokan
If you are looking for a Japanese-style hotel close to Hiroshima Station, make Kyobashi Ryokan your choice! It is only 5 minuete walk from the station. Although staff do not speak foreign language well , our inn promises a convenience and comfort for your trip in Hiroshima.
All the guest rooms are not en-suite but they are kept clean, cozy and quiet. All rooms have TV and are air-conditioned and Japanese style with tatami matt.

Great location. Staff don't speak English but sign language made it all work. The room was clean, but the decor was a strange mix of (western) '70s curtains and walls, and Japanese tatami mats and cupboards - quite endearing once you got past the initial shock. I was on the fourth floor, and the bath/shower room was on the second floor, where the corridors smelled a bit cigarette-smoky. (My room didn't smell of smoke though.)
