Location is very good, I stayed in the HI the previous night and the location wasn't as good and there were homeless people around. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen and facilities are great, giant tvs, giant computer monitors, free internet. If anything it lacks socialisation, I was put in the second building which seemed to have more permanant people living there who weren't too friendly. There wasn't any mingling between the two buildings, but building 1 seemed more sociable then mine.

I found this to be a great hostel. The staff are all very welcoming and fun to chat with. There are a lot of little places to sit if you feel like being quiet and plenty of people to chat to when you feel like being social. I'm 27 so I was very happy to have a place that was social but not too loud or constantly smelling of alcohol! The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. It's in a good location and is very easy to get to and get to know that city from. I would defiantly stay there again if I ever need a bed in Toronto for a few weeks or a few nights.
