This is a Trusted Review. Why?
This is probably the best and cleanest hostel I have ever stayed on. The only drawback I can think of is that sound from the first flour carried extremely well uppwards. Some curtatins on the doors in 2.flour would be nice as well. Other than that the hostel was pretty much perfect.

Aleksandar Palas Hotel is the only five star hotel in the capital that unites a subtle atmosphere of unparalleled style, sophistication and elegance. Aleksandar Palas Hotel was named after a great Serbian King Aleksandar Obrenovic. The inspiration to name it after the king was born from the very location of the hotel as it is situated between Kralja Petra I (King Peter the 1st Karadjordjevic dynasty), and Cara Lazara (Tsar Lazar Nemanjic dynasty) streets, thus naming the hotel after a great Serbian King of the third Serbian dynasty Obrenovic seemed only the most appropriate.
Hotel is situated in a building that was built in 1887, in the style of architectural classicism. As many surrounding buildings were also built in the 19th century, it creates a beautiful and harmonious architectural complex. Nine very exclusive suites available at the Aleksandar Palas Hotel were designed to provide an exceptional degree of comfort and pleasure to our guests.
Attention to detail and personal service take the form of a fine art at our hotel, so that Guests may always be rewarded with magical and memorable experiences
Although Aleksandar Palas Hotel is only a few feet away from the Belgrade's dazzlingly dynamic Knez Mihailova (Duke Michael's) street, your stay at the hotel will provide you with a strong sense of tranquility.
In the very heart of Belgrade - by far the best address in town, this small Boutique all-suites hotel will extend you with a view through time from ancient through medieval to modern as it is surrounded by Kalemegdan fortress (founded in 3rd century BC), St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (founded in 16th century), as well with the most modern urban contents restaurants, cafés, shopping and entertainment pleasures.
