Located on the edge of the fascinating Old Quarter of Hanoi, the Hanoi Lakeside Hotel is in quiet and shady Hang Hanh street, less than a two minute stroll from the beautiful lake Hoan Kiem. The area is served by major banks, including the international HSBC and ANZ, and nearby are many fine cafes and restaurants. We also provide foreign exchange into dong for major currencies at our desk, charging no commission and giving the same rates as the banks.

Our friendly desk staff are well trained and all speak English. They can help you with anything from advice about here to eat to calling you a taxi or arranging a tour or onward travel. We have 18 rooms, all with en-suite toilet and shower, furnished in a delightful traditional Vietnamese manner. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator, fan and reverse-cycle air-conditioner, cable LCD TV, Wi-Fi Internet access, telephone and a safe. Some rooms have views

over the lake and others views across the street. Some have balconies. A lift (elevator) serves all floors and Internet computers are located in the lobby.

The Hanoi Lakeside Hotel is situated just by the top of Lake Hoan Kiem, at 19 Hang Hanh Street, Hanoi.

We offer pick up from Train and Bus stations to the hotel, and discounted airport pick up. After booking, please let us know of your travel details via our email, so we can arrange your transport.

We strongly recommend airline passengers to take advantage of our discounted airport pick up, with options as below:

Option 1, 4 seater car: 13 USD /car.

Option 2, 7 seater van: 15 USD/ van.

Option 3, 16 seater van: 20 USD/van.

Option 4, 35 seater bus: 30 USD/ Bus.

Please just email us of your flight details. Transit from the Airport takes about 40 minutes to one hour.

If you do decide to make your own way to the hotel please be aware of the many scams operating in Hanoi. Your taxi driver might tell you that we are a bad hotel. DON'T BELIEVE HIM. He might still take you to the wrong hotel – INSIST on being taken to Hanoi Lakeside Hotel. Someone standing outside the hotel might pretend to work for us and direct you to another hotel, saying that the Hanoi Lakeside Hotel has over-booked. DON'T BELIEVE HIM EITHER. He will be working for another hotel and trying to pinch our guests. ALWAYS INSIST ON entering the hotel and
