About Tamarindo Backpackers

We're a small hostel located only a short walk from the beach plus the best surfing breaks, restaurants, stores and nightlife. We're just out of the hustle and bustle of town so you can also get in touch with the nature of the region. Our unique location means you'll be surrounded by howler monkeys, lizards, iguanas, all kind of birds, crabs, racoons, and many other animals and plants.

Whether you're a backpacker looking for good waves, or maybe just a tranquil and pleasant place to get away from it all, this is the spot for you. With its tropical garden and good vibes you can't help but feel you are truly in paradise.

We've got a swimming pool (the only hostel in town with a pool!), free internet, a fully-equipped Kitchen, air-conditioning in all rooms, cable TV, laundry service and our BBQ grill. All this makes us your perfect choice for your vacation on Tamarindo Beach.

Our bilingual staff would be more than happy to give you the best advice on what to do in the area. We can arrange surf lessons, board rentals, surfing trips to surroundings beaches, turtle-watching tours and many other exciting tours.

We're a brand new hostel, part of the Costa Rica Hostel Network.

Warning: Other places in town will tell you that they don't know where we're located or even that we don't exist in order to send you to other places in which they would get a referral commission. After booking you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us with our exact address.

Conditions

Check-in until 4pm. Check out 11am.
Front Desk hours are 7:00 am untill 10:00 pm
Quiet hours after 11pm.
Reservation will not be accepted if they are done less than 24 in advance.
Reservations will be held until 4pm. If you will be arriving after 4pm, you must contact the hostel directly to extend your arrival time, otherwise it will be cancelled.
