My main problem with this property is that the hostel is up four flights of stairs and there is no lift. Carrying your luggage therefore can be very difficult depending on the weight. The staff are very helpful and friendly and can arrange your tours for you.

KINGS PALACE WAS FINE FOR WHAT WE WANTED A CHEAP HOTEL IN CENTRAL CAIRO FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY OVER
VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL STAFF!
PITY ABOUT THE VERY DIRTY ACCESS STAIRWAY & LIFT NOT WORKING THE HOTEL IS ON THE 4TH FLOOR & ITS A LONG WAY UP & DOWN THROUGH A VERY DIRTY & GRUBBY ACCESS STAIRS WITH LUGGAGE
FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT IT NEARY SCARED US OFF!
THE ROOM WAS CLEAN & THE BEDS COMFORTABLE THE FLOOR INFRONT OF THE SHOWER/TOILET AREA WAS ROTTEN DUE TO WATER DAMAGE

My main problem with this property is that the hostel is up four flights of stairs and there is no lift. Carrying your luggage therefore can be very difficult depending on the weight. The staff are very helpful and friendly and can arrange your tours for you. The location is a real blessing as you can walk to almost everywhere. Depending on the location of your room you may be disturbed by guests and/or staff in the reception area. Generally, though the guests are quite well behaved. I would highly recommend this hostel especially based on price; real value for money. Breakfast is included as is airport pick-up.
Kings Palace Hotel is a good, budget solution in downtown Cairo. The private rooms are big, clean and equipped with Air conditioning, essential for anyone travelling to Cairo in summer. The staff was kind and service-oriented. They helped me to plan my trip in Egypt as as to make the the necessary arrangements (travel/accomodation elsewhere). The entrance to the hotel building needed some repairs, but these were being undertaken while I was guest. I highly recommend this hotel!
