The Youth Hostel 'Neusiedl am See' is located in view of the National park 'Neusiedler Lake. Austria´s only steppe-lake can be reached by foot within 45 minutes. Next to the hostel there is a bus station. A taxi shuttle can be organised at the hostel as well.

The hostel is located in a quiet place. There is a huge garden with a fun court (football, basketball), a

volleyball court and a barbecue area outside.

'Aquamania' at the Front Door:

Especially during the summer Austria´s Surfer paradise is a melting pot of young people. Furthermore you will find rental stores for all water sports, as well as beach-volleyball, tennis, bycicle and equestrian in this beautiful steppe.

Experience Nature and Culture:

At Lake Neusiedl National Park you can find natural phenomenons and natural works of art such as the 278 different residing bird species. For those who are interested in culture there are a lot of possibilities in that area.

For example the Haydn Museum in Eisenstadt or the Esterhazy Castle. Moreover Lake Neusiedl hosts amazing cultural events through the Pannonian Museum of Local History, the international renowned Mörbisch Lake Festivals and the St. Margarethen Opera House.

Even better, Vienna is only an hour away!

Directions

By train:
From the train station Neusiedl am See you can reach the hostel within 20 minutes by feet. Take the Eisenstätterstraße on the right hand side. Follow this street until the trafic lights. Than go left up to the hill until the round about and take the Herbergsgasse on the left. from Vienna there is a train at least once an hour.
By car from Vienna: Take the freeway A4 until exit Neusiedl. Go right and follow the street until the roundabout where you turn right.
