Lhasa International Youth Hostel is located at the center of Lhasa, Tibet. It is just a few steps away from the Potala Palace, Jokhang and Ramoche Monastery. Nearby our hostel are some of the major department stores and supermarkets. We have a total of a140 rooms and 400 more beds ranging from standard double rooms to dormitories. All rooms have attached shower rooms and 24-hour hot shower.Free services include laundry, breakfast,baggage storage ,travel information and pick up from train station. We also provide internet and email sevice, printing and international call for an affordable price. We can also help you to book tickets for transportation out of Lhasa.The breakfast is included in the room rate. (Except the multiple rooms).You can also get free wireless access in the Secret Garden Restaurant.

Directions

Getting to our hostel can never be easier. The train station is 9km away from the center of town, a taxi ride costs Y20 - 30 for a whole vehicle. A cheaper alternative (though probably a more complicated one) is to take bus #86 from the train station to the Kang'ang East Rd, then take a rickshaw (Y3) to our hostel.which is just 5 minutes away from our hostel. (Each bus ride costs Y1.)
The Lhasa Airport is 68km away from the town center, the airport shuttle bus costs Y25 and it takes you to the Air Department Building, then you can take a rickshaw (Y3) to our hostel.
We can also arrange pickup at the train station for free.
