We offer single and double rooms as well as dorms including linen and breakfast, at an affordable price. We have a lounge with a fun and cosy atmosphere shared by people from all over the world.

We serve our area's famous Bavarian beer from our favourite small local breweries (and non alcohol drinks of course), also at a good price. And, we have a fully equipped self catering kitchen (wash your dishes please).

Plus, we have tips and help for every activity taste – climbing, caving, MTB, kayaking, hiking - or relaxing in the famous Breweries in our neighborhood.

Directions

The Hostel Factory41 is located in a village called Plankenfels. Cities in the surrounding area are Bamberg (about 40 km), Bayreuth (about 20 km) or Nuremberg (about 60 km).

You can reach us by Car/Motorcycle
- 1st. Highway A9 Exit 'Bayreuth Nord' and just follow the signs B22 and 'Fränkische Schweiz'. After the village 'Eckersdorf' turn left to Plankenfels.

- 2nd Highway A70 Exit Stadelhofen. Just follow the sings to 'Hollfeld'. In Hollfeld turn right to Plankenfels.

By Train/Bus, Start at Bayreuth Hauptbahnhof /Main station:
- Cross the road in front of the station. Use Bus Nr. 8433 direction Hollfeld. Your exit is the stop 'Plankenfels Ort' The factory is just 50m on the right.
