Our guesthouse is located on the picturesque Gellért-Hill, providing faboulous view from the rooms. Sitting out the balcony makes en excellent chill-out mood on a hot summer night.
Our rooms can be found in the guesthouse of a high quality university campus. Matthias Corvinus Guest House offers two-bed rooms with ensuite shower and toilet. Rooms have balcony with a splendid view over Buda side and the hills, which makes a chill out ambiance on a nice, warm summer night.
There is a shared kitchen with fridge and cooking facilites in the building. Small fitness room with table tennis is also for your disposal. A portable stand ventilator is placed for your convenience in the rooms.

Directions (how to arrive at the structure) :
Mathias Corvinus Guest House is located in the guesthouse of a university campus called Mathias Corvinus Collegium (it is written over the main entrance)on Gellert Hill in the Buda side of the city. The Buda Castle, the Liberty Statue and other major attractions in Buda side are just a couple of minutes away from the accommodation. Downtown Pest is five minutes by bus No. 8. or 112. From Moricz Zsigmond korter in Buda side Bus No. 27. takes you to the guest rooms.
The surrounding of Matthias Corvinus Guest House is a very pleasant residential area with great view to the Buda side.
You can park your cark in front of the guest rooms for free. On request you can also park down your car in the closed parking area of the adjacent university
How to get there:
-From the airport:
#1.: by public transport: take the blue public bus (BKV+) from the airport to Kõbánya-Kispest terminus. Here you change for the blue metro line (M3) to 'Ferenciek Tere' station. Here change for the bus #8 or #112 (find the bus stop next to the big white churc and the 'Karpatia restaurant'. From the bus get off at the 3rd stop at 'Hotel Charles' or 'Mészáros utca' and cross the street and walk up in 'Avar utca' after 200m takes the stairs up on your left. The first building on your left is 'Matthias Corvinus Collegium', the less higher building!!!
#2.: The airport minibus would be 2300 HUF/person (about 9,6 EUR and 45 min), the taxi you can take from the airport (Tourist taxi) costs about 25 EUR/car (40 min.)Or call (+36-1)2-000-000 for the cheapest taxi (taxi 2000). their tariff is 4000 HUF(17)/car to Budaside.
From Nyugati trainstation: take the blue metro line (M3)to 'Ferenciek tere' and then the above mentioned buses.
From Keleti railway station: Bus No 7 to 'Ferenciek tere'.
By car: If you come from the downtown (Pest side), please take the white Elizabeth bridge. Cross the river Danube and than just drive towrads the highways M1 and M7. The second traffic lamp, at the second possibility please turn left, take the street which is called AVAR and than go up a bit. Turn left at the first corner and you'll see there Mathias Corvinus Guesthouse (a white building- not the higher, but the smaller one!!!!)
From the highway M1 or M7: towards CENTRUM and Elizabeth Bridge (Erzsébet híd) and the street AVAR you'll find right handside.
