B&B Il Sole delle Rive, Alba, Italy

In the heart of Langhe a picturesque place 18 km far from Alba in Piedmont you'll found this old homestead built with the typical Langhe stones. The district iis well known, not only for the Barolo's wine, but also for the historical castles like Grinzane Cavour and Serralunga d'Alba.

Very recently, Maria e Maurizio, have restructured it. The guest rooms are on the first floor with access to the long balcony. They are sunny and offer a coloured accomodation: the blue "Lavender"; the yellow "Bamboo"; the red "Bunch of grapes" a flatlet.

This consists of a double bedroom, a large bathroom and a living room with 2 extra bed and a fully equipped kitchenette. A free wireless internet connestion it's available. The breakfast it's very rich with home made products. It's served in our common comfortable living room, with fireplace, TV-HiFi corner and supplied Piedmont's library.

Both of us are travellers and have visited the 5 continents. We can speak a good English, French and a basic Deutch. There is a nice and large swimming pool with spa pool not far from us. In summer time it's possible have a breakfast in the shadow of a big gazebo.

The house it's the starting point of different walking paths and it's possible to make an half or full day hiking.

The same paths are suitable for mountain-bikes. Paved roads in the area have a low traffic and are a sort of cycling paths that pass through panoramic places.

Maurizio it's patented naturalistic guide and can be your lead guests on hiking or mountain-bikes trails. Bicycles can be rent on request. We are closed from January to March.
