This was a fabulous little flat in the best part of the city where I had a brilliant five day stay with my two daughters. Renato, he owner, was brilliant. He picked us up from the airport at midnight and whisked us off to the property where he explained everything to us, including the fact that he'd collect our luggage the day of our departure and pick us up in time for our flight. That made our last day so easy. Cagliari is a fabulous holiday destination and we are all planning to return .

The B&B Centro Storico Via Manno offers studio flats of 30/40 sq. m. on a number of floors. This elegant, historic building was recently renovated and its warm, wood colours and careful attention to detail create a welcoming environment. The B&B Centro Storico Via Manno is in the heart of the historical centre of Cagliari, between the ancient neighbourhoods of Castello and Marina, where the most important monuments can be found. Castello is the most striking part of the city, surrounded by Medieval defence walls, imposing towers (San Pancrazio and Elefante) and rich in panoramic squares, such as Bastione di Saint Remy, museum complexes (Museum Citadel, The Jewish Ghetto, The Roman Amphitheatre) and ancient churches, including the Cathedral. The neighbourhood of Marina, instead, abounds in restaurants, pizzerias and bars, and stretches down from via Manno, the heart of the shopping area, to via Roma, which runs along the harbour front with its picturesque archways and historical buildings. The B & B Centro Storico Via Manno enjoys a prime position for those who wish to discover the other neighbourhoods in Cagliari on foot or by public transport, thanks to the numerous bus stops nearby (N. 10 in via Manno, Ns. 30, 31, PF, PQ, M in via Roma) and the train and bus station in Piazza Matteotti.

We could not have asked for better during our stay, Ronato was a pleasure to meet and very welcoming to a new city. After our tour of the apartment he guided us through the Cagliari map pointing out things to do, places to eat everything. If you are thinking of going to Cagliari this is the place to stay :-) Calling it a B&B does not give it the credit it deserves the place was better than most hotels!!!!
We were more than pleasantly surprised to find that this was actually self catering studio apartments with everything we needed at hand. Renato greeted us in the most unique, friendly and welcoming manner I have ever been greeted and gave us lots of advice on the city and ample instruction to use the gadgets in the apartment. The apartments were clean and quiet, walking distance to many restaurants cafes bars and sightseeing destinations. Just 5 mins walk and we could hop on a bus to Poetto Beach. Centro Storico is an excellent location that I would highly recommend and will return to myself in the future.
