This was definitely the cheapest option for staying in Palermo but I would prefer to pay more rather than stay there again. The location was good if you want to be close to the city centre. And if you want to party all night it is also good since the whole street is lined with nightclubs. But if you actually want to sleep this will be almost impossible since those nightclubs play loud music all night long so the floor actually shakes a bit. There was also a huge fight at 4am in the street below our window which was a bit scary. The rooms were generally clean, but the some of the bathrooms were rather run down. No air-conditioning but fans are provided. The staff were friendly and helpful though which was nice.
This is the worst hostel I ever did for such a price! We paid 45€ for a room where NO electricityplugs were working (!!) also, the boiler was broken so there was no hot water... And last but not least the light in the bathroom was broken.
Last but not least this room was next to a pub with such loud music that sleeping was almost no option before 5 in the morning!Stay in another hostel if you want to see Palermo, we went out after 1 day and staid the rest of the time in a super hostel (Casa de Amici)
