Overall it was very clean, simple and was walking distance to the train station. Was perfect for someone who wasn't planning on spending hours inside and wanted to be well connected to get around Kyoto. Loved it. I'd give it 5 stars overall. x

The place itself wasn't bad, but the guy we dealt with the first day couldn't have cared less that we were there. He was rude and a bit strange, and the guy on the second day was also an ass. They had the Japanese style shared baths down stares, but when I went to soak, the water wasn't heated at all. Big fail. Great location and not a bad price, but Japanese service is famous for a reason, and these guys made me feel like I was back in the States at a seedy motel. I will never be back.

i am feel good to stay here. the hotel is located very the kyoyo station but not much exciting place around here. This place may your good choice to stay with ryokan style hotel.

Outstanding location, excellent value for money. Host is friendly and accommodating. The public baths were the bomb! Just what you need after a long day of trekking. Highly recommended.

It was an older building, but clean. Not far from the station, and surprisingly quiet for its location. The staff was nice. Our friends enjoyed the Japanese room experience.
