Really enjoyed staying at Classc Inn. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Beds were comfortable and rooms a good size with nice hot shower! Location was only real drawback, the taxi driver struggled to find it, but we persevered and it was worth it. Take all the directions from the website with you.

Classic Inn is set in a traditional era of the 50's ambiance where the colonial influences of architectural design and lifestyle predominate. This Classic Inn is renovated for the colonial look as it is a prewar building with a modern fire protection facility and CCTV surveillance. Most of the rooms have window and comes with private bathroom equipped with high-pressured hot showers. Classic Inn also offers 5 star quality King Koil bed with individual-controlled Air-Condition, color TV for local channels & IDD telephone.
In the morning 'cultural' breakfast are preparedfor our beloved guest. Laundry service, WIFI & Internet connection are also available 24hrs. A lovely garden is available for guests to enjoy the warm Malaysian Climate to invigorate their mind and soul throughout the day. BBQ stove is also built at the garden so that you can enjoy a BBQ party with your gang of friends here.
No comfort is complete without cleanliness. The management of Classic Inn is very particular in Tidiness and Cleanliness. In this regard, Classic Inn's housekeeping are always conducted in a similar fashion of a 5 star hotel accommodation. We, Classic Inn, always feels happy that our guests feel that Classic Inn is their second home.

I stayed at this Hotel 2 nights during September 2009. My room with a single bed was very nice and well equipped. Everything worked well. The location of the Hotel is excellent,.. just across the street from what I understand to be the largest shopping centre in KL. (Great for shopping). Tours booked through the Reception desk was immediately confirmed and the service at the Reception desk was excellent.
Breakfast consisted of some fruit, bread, egg and some coffee. The variety could perhaps be a bit bigger.
All-in-all a very good stay and a Hotel that I would recommend.

Well.... I was a good experiance staying at Classic Inn KL. People was kind and helpful.... I will sure go back Classic Inn again if I visiy KL again...
Nevertheless, the air-con in the 8 bed bunk I sleep on level 3 was not working too well that night. I guess the air-con just need some servicing that it will be perfect...
Roti Chanai breakfast taste better then what we get in some 5 star hotels!!!!

The building is well maintained with cheerful touches. The neighborhood seems to be undergoing redevelopment but at least it was quiet at night. It's right across the street from the parking lot entrance to Berjaya Times Square Mall, which houses Imbi monorail stop and a taxi stand. The service could not have been better, the staff was welcoming above and beyond the call of duty. This busy guesthouse is a good place to meet other travelers. They strike the right mix of traveler-funky and KL-chic.

The Internet is competitively priced and good value, as that you can purchase in 30min blocks. At 2 other Internet access facilities the min was 1hr.
This hotel is exactly as described, the rooms do vary in size which means that some are fairly small. The staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is very clean. All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Directions
i. From Pudu Bus Station to Classic Inn:
You have to walk along Jalan Pudu towards Jalan Imbi. Walk across Jalan Imbi and take the first left (Jalan 1/77A) towards Times Square West. Keep walking along Jalan 1/77A and look out for a yellow building on the right side of the road. Please note that the distance from Pudu Bus Station to Classic Inn is approximately 1.2 km and walking is only recommended if you do not have heavy luggage.
ii. From KLIA to Classic Inn by Taxi:
Buy a taxi coupon from KLIA to go to Berjaya Times Square. Tell the driver to drive to Times Square West Entrance, which is on Jalan 1/77A. Once there tell the taxi driver to driver further down along Jalan 1/77A and look out for yellow building, house no.52 on the right side of the road.
iii. From KLIA by train:
The fastest way from KLIA to Classic Inn is to hop on the KLIA Express to Sentral Station. After you get out of the station, go to the Malaysia Tourist Office and obtain a Kuala Lumpur map. Ask for direction to the Monorail Station. From Sentral Station walk across Jalan Tun Sambanthan to the monorail station and take the monorail to Imbi Station. Refer below for the direction to Classic Inn.
iv. From LCCT (Air Asia's Low Cost Carrier Terminal for Air Asia Flights):
You can purchase a SkyBus ticket from the LCCT to KL Sentral for RM9, which will take you to Lower Ground Floor Bus Station, facing open air car park and Jalan Tun Sambanthan. From KL Sentral Station, you may either take a taxi to Berjaya Times Square or monorail to Imbi Monorail Station (please refer to the above for directions by taxi and refer to below for directions by monorail to Classic Inn).
v. From Monorail Station to Classic Inn:
When you arrive at IMBI Station Platform A, walk down the steps, do not go through Platform "A" exit ticket barrier, follow the sign to Times Square, go down steps toward Platform "B" and up the steps to the exit ticket barrier.
If your arrive is in between 10AM to 10PM:-
Walk through the glass doors and you are in Times Square Shopping Complex, First Floor (1). Walk pass 7-11 and you will reach the Information Desk, turn left and take the escalator to Ground Floor (G). Take a sharp left turn and walk past Star Bucks, take the down escalator again to the Lower Ground Floor (LG).
Once you reach Lower Ground Floor, turn to your right and walk pass the open area. You will see Cold Storage Supermarket on the left, and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in front of you. Immediately to the right of KFC and next to Hush Puppy Store is a plain grey double exit door marked "KELUAR" (means EXIT).
Pass through the door and you will find yourself in the car park area. Do not panic, just walk straight through the parking area to outside and look directly across the road and you will see the yellow building of Classic Inn.
If your arrival is in between 10PM to10AM:-
Look for the stairs that is going down beside the shop 'Hotlink'. Go all the way down.
At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and cross both of the paths to the opposite side of the road.
Turn right again and walk straight on the tiled path. In about 20 steps you should be able to see a water fountain. Walk past the fountain and cross the red path and continue walking straight.
Landmarks to look out for:-
On your right hand side firstly you can see 'Wings' Restaurant. Next 'Jingga' Restaurant, then Orkid hotel.
On your left you should have lamp posts. On the 8th lamp post you can see Classic Inn on your right.
