This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Casa del Sol ticked all the boxes for my stay in Tulum, it boasts a warm and welcome environment with staff too eager to make sure your stay meets your expectations. The kitchen area is as social as you let it and while its location is at the end of the commercial strip, Tulum is completely flat so riding a beach cruiser (bike) around is half the fun, negating this fact. As an improvement it could add some more dishes and utensils to the kitchen cache but i easily made do with what was available. Overall i would not hesitate to return to casa del sol, its social, clean and relaxing, with all the info you will need for your stay in Tulum i recommend snorkeling and or diving the cenotes, a day trip to akumal to snorkel the reef (tortugas!) and meditation on a local turquoise beach. disfruta!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This hostel has a lot of potential. It has a great vibe if your into the communal bongo drum jam session type place. I would suggest that they get some cockroach bombs as these things were bigger then the ones we get in Qld Australia. The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but not bad. All in all pretty good place, nice people and rather good location.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Nice place within easy walking distance of the bus station. A bit short of toilets in the morning and could get a private double room elsewhere for the price of 2 dorm beds here, but overall is was really comfortable and friendly. The cooked breakfast was good and the bike hire was handy too.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

I assume that the far left on the above form is low and right is high. Place had god signs, but at night hard to see. Lady was very nice but must work too hard cause she never smiles. Give her a raise and help. I'll return because it is a nice place, now that I found where it is.
