A nice Riad with some lovely decorative touches to make it feel a bit special. The location was nice and central. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only think I didnt like was that the whole Riad was a bit dark somehow - perhaps perfect in the heat of Summer but wewere there in late February so still a bit cool. Definitely recommend the place.

As you are coming into Essaouira ; follow the avenue going along in parallel with the beach, deep until you reach a parking place next to the harbour of the town. Leave your car with the parking watcher and go into the big Gate just before, called Bab ELMANZAH.

You carry on straight into Bab Elmanzzah until you reach a second gate with two small canons, inside the Medina, Riad Chakir is in the second narrow alley after on the right.
