HI - Porto

Photos Facilities Map Streetview Reviews

HI - Porto Youth Hostel accommodates 148 guests in a choice of 24 twins ensuite (2 suitable for wheelchair users), 10 twin with shared sanitary facilities, 19 four-bed dorms and 1 apartment with 4 beds and kitchenette.

Since you're staying at the HI- Porto Hostel, we will be honored to serve you breakfast with a panoramic view of the Douro estuary.

And after the grub, check out the town. Take in the different styles of local architecture, zigzag across the bridges, taste the Port wine in one of the many cellars, mix with the people in Bolho marketplace, count the number of steps as you climb to the top of Clrigos' Tower and take a souvenir photo in Avenida dos Aliados.

If you're a football freak, then FC Porto and Boavista stadiums are waiting to hear you scream wildly. Casa da Msica, Serralves, Rosa Mota pavillion and the coliseum should have several events scheduled to suit your taste. At night, the Ribeira and the many discos in town are a clear synonym for fun unlimited. All this and much more. Porto is a cool town.

Very good 78%

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

I had really pleasant stay in the hostel. You will have wonderfull view to the estuary from the lounge. It not only cheap, but the rooms and facilities are clean, breakfasts are ok and reception servise was very good. I was given all informations about area, etc. that I needed.
It is easy to get to the hostel from the airport during the day, the only catch is if your flight is early in the morning, you will have to take taxi, as there is no busses approx from 1-5:00am and it takes you some time to get to the airport. But during the day there is very good bus and tram connection everywhere.
