Welcome to Minnigaff Hostel, set in a fine hillwalking and cycling area. Also popular here is pony trekking. You can fish the River Cree.
Galloway Forest Park is nearby and the Southern Upland Way is 8 miles away. Visit the picturesque town of Newton Stewart. Take a day trip to the wild goat park and nature trails.
The RSPB runs a reserve at Wood of Cree and Glen Trool offers many scenic walks and world class mountain biking.

By Bus
Get bus to Newton Stewart, then town bus to Minnigaff drops outside the hostel. Minnigaff walkable from Newton Stewart (0.5 mile)
By Train
Nearest Train Station is Stranraer (25 miles), then take bus.
By Car
From A75 follow signs for Newton Stewart. Look for Minnigaff signs by the bridge. Turn into the road by the 'Cree Inn' and the Hostel is 650 yards on the left.
