The location was good. Nice area near the metro and 10-15 minutes walk from Plaza de Catalunya. The room was clean. The bathroom was not big and the facilities are a bit old. They should be renewed. The service was ok.

The Barcelona Residence 1 is ideally located in the Old Town,in walking distance to the most interesting,cosmopolitan and dynamic area of the city.During your stay in barcelona,won't you visit in 10 minutes the Cathedral,the Gothic quarter,the Picasso Museum,the Ramblas,Maremagnum,Parc of the city,Arc of triunf ,Plaza Catalunya,Corte ingles and 15 minutes from the Olympic village (beach), etc. There is also a wide variety of restaurants and Bars.
Our rooms are equipped with television, Wifi and we specially guarantee a strict cleanliness. Our guests have access to the lounges and common dining rooms.
We are taking 25€ as a deposit to give to you the keys and we will give your money back when you check out. Advise about arrival time.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We had a double room in a 3 bedroom apartment with separate locks and keys for each room. Free hi speed wifi was great. Location excellent, 5 to 10 minute walk to great shopping and la rambla. Supermarket very close by. I would definitely recommend this place to people, the manager was very helpful and kind. Value for money was unbeatable! Thank you

it was really very convinient and comportable to live in this hostel/appartment. The location is very good - you can easily get to all interesting places of Barcelona. Service is also on very high level! We spent 5 days in this place and never regreted about our choise!
Only small remark is that it was quite noisy because you could hear each and every sound from all rooms around. For the rest it was perfect.

We stayed at Barcelona Residence 1 in a private double with shared bathroom. Our specific residence only had us and another room in the flat with a bathroom to share a few blocks away from the Universitat and around a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas. The bed was comfortable, there was a television, wardrobe, desk and lamp in the bedroom and the bathroom was close and clean with a great shower. Although there was some initial confusion at our arrival at the address we had been given through email due to there being multiple flats that make up Barcelona Residence 1 in different nearby buildings, the live-in manager of our particular flat, Saimi, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The walls were also pretty thin in the building complex as a whole. For the price, it was a great place to stay- very clean and nicely kept, close but not too close to the touristy Las Ramblas, a block away from a metro stop, and with fabulous customer service.
