The Urbany is the biggest and cleanest hostel I have stayed in. The location is just a few metro stops from the centre and you will find much cheaper ewting options close by. We had a 6 person female dorm, and for the price it was excellent with breakfast included and access to the gym/pool next door. There is a cheap bar onsite, pool, darts, an outside terrace and the option for cheap food and nightclub visits each night. I would highly recommend Urbany

Barcelona Urbany Hostel it's a brand spanking new hostel, a modern and funky building with lots of facilities you won't find even in some hotels.

We are engaged with eco-friendly practices, technology and whatever youth traveller needs to make their stay economical and easier without giving up comfort. Our goal is to develop a new concept of hostelling, being more like a "low cost hotel" than a typical youth hostel.

The hostel is well connected with public transportation and within walking distance to some of the most popular tourist sites: Sagrada Famila (Gaudi), Torre Agbar (Jean Nouvelle), and the Barcelona Bullring are about 5 minutes on foot. The nearest metro stop is 'Clot' and the bus stop is only 2 minutes walking from the hostel. It takes 10-15 minutes to Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Port Olimpic and the beach.

Great location: 5mins walk from Clot-Arago Metro station, the airport train also stops at this station, so no need to change train. 15-30mins walk (depending how fast you walk) to Familia Sagrada or to the beach from the hostel.

Clean, superb bedroom (we stayed in a 4-beds dorm) with own shower & toilet.

Good facilities: Keycard access to your room and individual locker. WiFi available in own bedroom (if you have your own laptop). The gym and swimming pool next door is free for hostel geusts. Spacious sundeck and chillout area for catching-ups.

Friendly and helpful staff.

A 5-Stars hostel for backpackers!!!

1-Just outside the airport Terminal A, take the train "cercanías" n.2 , to Sant Celoni/Maçanet.
2-Get off at the "Clot-Aragó" station.
3-Get out of the station, cross the street "Avenida Meridiana" and walk on your left for about 2 blocks, until you find n. 97.

4-Turn left in Consell de Cent Street. Keep walking until it crosses with Avenida Meridiana.
5- At the cross you will find the hostel at n. 97
