Friendly and helpful staff, and great location for going out in the evenings. However, double room 4 was pretty noisy from the street late at night (ie until 4am both nights).

We are centrally located on the East side of Barrio Bellavista, the famous bohemian quarter and every traveller's favourite area of Santiago. Although the hostel block is quiet (consists mostly of atmospheric restaurants), you will find many services on Pio Nono street (one block away), such as a pharmacy, fast food, mini-markets, bottle shops, handicrafts and ATMs. The neighborhood is also famous for its many bars, nightclubs (from salsa to DJs) and places to listen to live music. All major sites of interest are walking distance. Eventhough there is plenty of fun to be had in our vibrant neighborhood with its over one hundred bars and restaurants, you can always hang out in the hostel playing pool, foosball, watching a movie, or just chilling on our sundeck with a glass of wine meeting other travellers while you wait for our exciting weekly barbecues, wine tasitngs and pub crawls. The dorm rooms in our cosy hostel have high ceilings, hard wood floors and access to balconies. Our solid steel beds (no shaking or squeaking) are equipped with a spring mattress and a backpack sized locker. Fresh linen, blankets and duvets are provided for the duration of your stay free of charge.
