About Country Side Resort
Country Side Resort is a boutique resort of 11 spacious tree top bungalows. A choice of rooms from standard fan room to air conditioned with hot shower means there is a room for all budgets. Our Mountain View rooms offer an unmatched panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
Country Side Resort was Lonely Planet\'s \'Best Pick\' of resorts in Ton Sai beach for 2010. We are also the only resort in the whole of Railay peninsula to use Solar Power and envision ourselves to be carbon neutral in a few years.
Accessible only by boat, Country Side Resort is located on TonSai beach which is Southern Thailands climbing hotspot.
The standard bungalows offer twin beds, ceiling fan, balcony, own bathroom with flushing toilet, basin and shower. An air-con room is also available. An extra third bed is available for an aditional charge.
Site facilities include Restaurant, Bar, Internet Access, TonSai\'s only WiFi Hotspot, In-Room Wifi, Mini-Mart, Trips/Excursion Bookings and Solar Laundry Service.
Krabi International airport is situated just 25Km from Ao-Nang, where you take a short trip on a long tail boat to TonSai taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Conditions
During low season (May-November) power is limited (6pm-2am) and no restaurant or breakfast facilities are available at this time. We hope to soon allow year round 24hr power with our work into solar power and reducing CO2 emissions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Country side resort. The owners were friendly. The rooms were basic but clean.

This was our first experience of Tonsai beach. For what we understood, it's common policy there, that the electricity is on only from the late afternoon till early morning. So keeping that in mind I think you really don't need air-con, since it wouldn't work during the daytime, when you would need it. Fan worked just fine during the nighttime (it's not that hot anyways). The place was few hundred meters uphill from the beach and had a nice surroundings when you got there, but to get there you had to walk by many piles of garbage and noisy generator buildings. The bungalow was nicely built and had own peaceful terrace. Even though the bungalow had a lot of openings for the insects to come in, there weren't too many of them inside the room. The owner couple was very nice and spoke english as their native language. Breakfast was not included in the price and costed 100 THB and was not worth it, comparing to other places at Tonsai. We had only cold water shower, but it wasn't that bad. Overall I would recommend this place, if you like some peace after daytime activities. Tonsai had a really great atmosphere and nice views.
