If you want to come to Santiago, this is the place for you!!

Placed in main city avenue of Santiago.

Located close to two subway stations and

to railway station and bus terminal.

also close to tourist places,museums,andes mountain,etc.

I didn't stay at Hotel Alameda. I went there and booked in, but I was feeling really sick. The Hotel room was quite small, and very noisy, and there were no facilities nearby. I was alone, and didn't speak much Spanish at all, and was not comfortable staying there in the state of health that I was in at the time. I mentioned to the staff there that I didn't like my room and they tried to find alternative accommodation for me which was much quieter. I thought that the staff there were absolutely FANTASTIC . I don't think that they could understand what my major concern was. I had been for a walk and tried to buy water and something that I thought was safe for me to eat, but was fighting nausea and dehydration. In the end I booked into a very expensive hotel in Santiago, where I was more comfortable.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to review the Hotel Alameda. Had the circumstances been different, I'm sure I would have given it a much better rating. The staff, and people there were just fantastic though and I'm sorry they might not have understood what my problems were.
