In the small restaurant, Adela spoils her guests with Chilean and German specialties. In the morning the rich breakfast is highly praised and is a solid base for Your excursions in the closer and farer surroundings, where it is not always possible to get something to eat.

Our "Backpacker" offers one sleeping-room and one modern bathroom with a shower for up to 6 backpackers. We are situated in between Conguillio national park, pacific, lake-district and Temuco. This location makes possible a variation of tours for our guests. Adela y Helmut is an excellent base to travel in Chile.

About us

Suabian-chilean hospitality and an outstanding service for individual travellers visiting Chile, offer Adela and Helmut with their cozy cafeteria and the Backpacker-accommodation. Adela's roots are the native Chileans, the Mapuche. Her cooking-arts are appreciated and praised by all guests. In the cafeteria rules a familiar atmosphere. The guesthouse is situated on the 25 hectar plot. You may observe the Chilean sky, full of stars in its full splendor. Helmut with suabian ancestors offers guided tours in the region. He knows Chile and South-America well from his long travels. He's got a lot of dates, for guests with rented cars as well, and may help You organizing a rented-car or a ticket for a ferry or a flight.

For horse-lovers, Helmut organizes tame horses from his neighbors for unguided horse-trips. All types of provisions and drinks may be bought from Adela. She as well provides the neighbors, who live quite spread out, with goods they might run out of.

Our Backpacker is an ideal departure-point for daytrips and tours. It is placed in plain nature, away from the crowded tourist centers Pucon or Villarrica and far from the smog of the regions capital Temuco. This spots as well may be visited in an afternoon-tour.

Between crossing "Faja 16000" and the guesthouse we offer a free transfer, for our guests without a vehicle, please call us ahead.
