Los Troncos is amazing! Its only 6 blocks from the bus station. The staff is absolutely amazing, Sophia who runs the place is incredibly nice and will help with anything that is need i.e. reservations for activities around the falls, telling you the bast places eat, or giving you directions. I stayed with a few friends in a four person room and it was perfect. I recommend staying here to everyone who is looking.

This place is just lovely. The friendliness and professional touch of all the staff was exemplary. Our room was huge and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Shame Puerto Iguazu is a once in a lifetime place. I'd certainly recommend Los Troncos. They also do an excellent Caipirhina for Brazilians and non-Brazilians alike.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We were within walking distance of the bus depot so travel to and from the falls (both Brazil and Argentina sides) was very cost effective. Sofia was very helpful and accurate with information which allowed to us to maximize the value of our stay. Sofia and her staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The food was nice a bonus. Had two great dinners in the two nights we were there. The rooms were very comfortable and the facility is very unique in its design. We would definitely stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend staying there to other travellers.

We toured South America for 7 weeks and this was definitely the best place we stayed in! The lady managing Los Troncos was extremely friendly and very helpful. It was a family business and was run fantastically well. Would definitely go there again!

Amazing! Sofia and her staff go out of their way to make your stay the holiday of a lifetime. Meticulous attention to detail, great suites and incredible service. We didn't want to leave!

An unusual and yet very well maintained place to stay. It feels much more in keeping with the surroundings than some of the larger and far more expensive hotels.

Our family spent just one night at Los Troncos last week but we wish it had been more! I chose this accommodation because it catered for all five of us in one room and I was not disappointed. In our chalet/unit there were 3 single beds downstairs and a double bed upstairs, so perfect for our family.
Los Troncos is a lot more luxurious than I'd imagined, with its beautifully landscaped grounds and swimming pool. It is definite value for money.
Sofi and her team were amazing! They go out of their way to meet your individual requirements, eg. serving dinner in our room as our son wasn't feeling well and had gone to bed early; also, letting us stay for a swim even after we'd checked out of our unit. Sofi had great advice for seeing the falls and as I said, we wish we'd had longer to do everything.
I totally recommend Los Troncos, particularly to other families or groups who do not want to have to get two rooms.
