First thing to know about us is that we are avid travellers as well, putting much of that experience into creating a new and different B&B. Large and beautiful rooms, including 3 double rooms, operating from a 1941 Chilean house, totally renovated in 2008.
Each room has been carefully design and decorated in the best tradition of Chilean guest-housing. Besides, this we have a cozy living-room and a big backyard patio including a grapevine structure, tables, chairs, water pond and all kinds of facilities designed for you to enjoy both the comfort and quietness of being at home.
Being in a central strategic location with regard to the most prominent places in the city. We are halfway between always cool Providencia district and cosmopolitan Santiago, at walking distance to Bohemian quarter Bellavista, Parks (Bustamante, Forestal, Metropolitano) and downtown.
Our world-famous breakfast is always included and a helpfull staff ready to answer any question and solve any problem you may have.
Laundry and meals are also available at request
Animals haters please take notice: there's a cute cat and a medium size dog living here.
:::Dear guests, we remind you that from June 1st to September 1st, our chef will be out of Santiago on his well-deserved vacation, in persuit of new flavors and textures. For the same breakfast service will be interrupted during this time, but the B & B facilities will be available for self catering. thank you:::

025 is covered up so look for the yellow building or ask friendly neighbours and they can point out the hostel. Kurt was very hospitable, greeting our jet lag with fresh juice and a smile. The water feature in the garden was relaxing and there was a beautiful evening ambiance. Breakfast was just phenomenal, with proper coffee, freshly made juice, bread, tomatoe omelette, fresh fruit and walnut bread with interesting conversation outside of traditional 'traveller' topics.
The en suite room is compact and cosy with an aesthetic flare of candles and wood. The bed was very comfortable for us with a feather under down and plenty of cover options. There was hot and cold water for the shower. Also a fridge in the bedroom for storing any food/drinks... Awesome.
There are a couple of subtle signs around the place to request a certain respect of others which is appreciative in regards to sound/ cleaning up. For example we would be asleep early and others would be enjoying sour piscoes outside and having a laugh without it infringing on each other. This can be a fine balance in hostel accommidation.
The hostel for us was positioned in Santiago in a good location with the metro close yet everything was within walking distance too.
As you can see from our rating of Almirante Riveros Hostel we were very happy with our experience - this of course is subjective to your personal needs in life.

Friendly people, comfortable and clean, very relaxing atmosphere. 5 star surprise breakfast. Even not directly in center very good connections bus 210 to Estacion Central - Bus stop Metro Santa Isabel or the Metro station Santa Isabel itself. Good chilean lunch restaurant and small shops just around the corner near the bus stop. Even a narrow shower cabin can not influence the whole impression: Perfect and calm place to relax after shopping/sightseeing in Santiago.
Extremely helpful and lovely people, amazing breakfasts, and now they are even improving the garden for summer bbqs... great.
