The best part was the room and bathroom were clean and the shower worked well. Also the hotel is also well located very near the Forbidden City and Wanfujing.
What we did not like - hotel name was not written in Chinese on the booking confirmatino so we had nothing to show the taxi driver to get taken there on arriving in beijing.

The Tai Long Hotel is located in the Wangfujing area of Beijing, just 100 metres from Beijing Chang An Avenue, Wangfujing Dajie and ten minutes walk from Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City.
Opposite the Tai Long Hotel are Wangfujing Xiaochijie (Wangfujing Snack Street) and the Donghuamen Yeshi night market. Tailong Hotel is well serviced by public transport, the Wangfujing subway station is conveniently located just a short walk from the hotel.
Each guest room at Tai Long has a private bathroom with 24 hour hot water, air-conditioning and heating, TV, a coffee/tea maker, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brush, towels, a bathrobe and slippers.
The hotel provides morning wake-up call and postal services.

What we did not like - hotel name was not written in Chinese on the booking confirmatino so we had nothing to show the taxi driver to get taken there on arriving in beijing. We got there on public transport and then walked past it as the photo of the hotel was not accurate and really showed the one next door which was a more impressive looking hotel - not a good start as it took us ages to find it in the pouring rain!Staff spoke little English and were not very friendly - we could not have booked tours or got help with ongoing train tickets - from them. Also no obvious place to have breakfast - we went out every day. Also because of the language barrier difficult to explain would have liked some laundry doing so did not use the service. We also had many problems with the room key which did not work and we had to going to reception to get them to sort this out
Probably good value if you speak Chinese - if not it has a good location and is clean but is not really set up for Western tourists.

Directions
The Tailong Hotel is located along Dong An Men Dajie, half way between Wangfujing Dajie and the Forbidden City.
After arrived Xin Dong An Shi Chang (Sundongan Plaza) turn west across Wangfujing Dajie, then you were at Dong An Men Da Jie. Go west and you can find Tailong Hotel.
Or if you have arrived from the east side of the Forbidden City, find Dong Hua Men Da Jie, turn east, walking through Dong Hua Men and then you will arrived Dong An Men Da Jie, hotel is right on Dong An Men Da Jie.
