This is a new hotel very clean and the rooms are large and very confortable the Satff is very nice and very helpful. Very easy to move around The Owner is british and it make it easier to comunicate. I invite foreigners to stay in this hotel

About Inn Barsby Hotel

Inn Barsby Hotel is conveniently situated in the west of Chengdu and is ideally located for trips to the Wolong Panda Reserve, Chengdu Zoo and other well known tourist spots.
The hotel is built in a European style and consists of 135 rooms, a coffee shop and two meeting rooms, one 50 pax and one 100 pax. Facilities include free internet, flat screen televisions and a travel desk. Chinese breakfast is included in the room rate however an authentic English breakfast is available a la carte.
The hotel is run by Robert Barsby an English hotelier and his wife.

The Hotel was very nice, rooms and service very good. For Breakfast there is a choice of chinese and western style. Mr Barsby same is very helpful, could solve problems with Internet access and other. Very good idea are the small information cards at the front desk about several sights (Panda base and DuFu Garden for example) because they're good also for showing Taxi drivers who don't speak any english in Chengdu. With the help of these cards we could see a lot of interesting places in a short time. The english style of the furniture, many paintings and the large clean rooms gave a very convenient atmosphere. If we return to Chengdu, only to this hotel, wich is situated in a small, but nice shopping area in the central district and close to railway station and other interesting places. We had a very nice stay!!
