Our aim at Lotusland is to be a home away from home for all travelers who reach our doors, and to introduce as many people to the unique sights that Nanning has to offer!

Although small - with two 6-bed dorms, two 4-bed dorms, two king-sized double rooms and one twin room – our hostel provides all the major conveniences and facilities you would expect to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible: spotless wash facilities with endless HOT WATER; on-site laundry service; café; FREE internet and Wi-Fi; a 42’’TV with Chinese/English channels and large DVD collection; and even a Wii for games fans.

In addition, although we are a ‘no smoking’ hostel we have a roof-terrace where you can ‘light-up’ as you please, or perhaps enjoy a BBQ, sunbathing, or just watching the world pass by.

Moreover our friendly staff is always on hand to give any advice or information to make the most of your time in Nanning. Lotusland signifies 'an idyllic realm of contentment and self-indulgence'. We are now providing Vietnam Visa service. You just need to hand us your passport and have the visa back without getting out of your room!!! And we charge the SAME price as the Vietam Consulate at Nanning does. CNY380/three biz days; CNY480/two biz days; CNY580/same day (but you must give us your passport before 10:00am. Notice, the Vietam Consulate only opens from Monday to Friday!!!

Take a short walk from Nanning Train station or Airport shuttle terminal and you’ll arrive at Nanning’s first and foremost backpacker hostel.

By Train: 'From Nanning Train station, use underpass to Chaoyang Rd. (Lu). Walk 500 meters and take 2nd right into Jinan Ave. Follow road to the left onto Shanghai Rd. We are 50 meters on the left hand side with trees around us and river behind us.

By Plane: From Nanning International Airport take the airport shuttle bus to the terminal/last stop (RMB 15). The terminal is 100 meters south of the train station on the east side of Chaoyang Rd. Cross Chaoyang Rd to the west side, then simply follow the direction above to our hostel.

By Bus

There are several long-distance buses terminals in Nanning, so please make sure which one are you coming from.

1. From Langdong Long-Distance Bus terminal, take bus NO.6 (within the bus station, not from out side of the bus station) to the 19th stop -- train station and then go back to Chaoyang Rd.(Lu) Walk 300 meters and cross to other side of the road. Go ahead about 200 meters along the main road and turn right to Jinan road. Follow the road to the left onto Shanghai Rd. We are 50 meters on the left hand side with trees around us and river behind us.

2. From Jiangnan Long-Distance Bus terminal, take bus31 to the Ji'nan Chaoyang Lukou (Intersection of Ji'nan Lu. and Chaoyang Lu). Cross Chaoyang Rd. (Lu) via the underpass and follow the road to the left along Shanghai Rd. The hostel is 50 meters on the left hand side with trees around us and river behind us.
