This is a Trusted Review. Why?
we booked this hostel but were not able to stay there. because it is in such a remote location that our taxi driver from the airport could not find it. We were forced to find another place at 1AM in the evening. The next morning we took another taxi to look for it, from Candleria, where we stayed and it was very far from centro and the museums, restaurants, etc. It was in family neighborhood without the amenities that traveller need.
we did go into the hostel to see the room. It is in a private home, and the room we were shown had a double bed and bunk bed and was messy. The mother and daughter proprieters seemed nice enough. The photo on travellers point was of a double bed in a windowed room and looked quite neat. Not so the room I saw.
This place was inappropriate because each day one would have to travel far to get to the heart of Bogata, the old city, places of interest, restaurants, night life.
We politely told the people we couldn't saty there.
