Latest Review for Hatters Hostel -Birmingham

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The hostel is kept very clean and tidy. The room I stayed in was very spacious and had a regularly cleaned ensuite. The staff are very friendly and I'd recommend having a chat with them. Make sure you check out the kitchen facilities downstairs. There is free bread, spreads, tea and coffee provided. The common room is very comfy and a good place to hang
out. Would definitely go back there again.

About Hatters Hostel -Birmingham

Internet Access Breakfast Included 24 hour reception

Hatters Hostels voted Best Hostel Chain in the UK & 2nd Best in the World for 2008 by Hostelworld customers.

BETA Award Winner 2008

Here at the Hatters we love to look after people- it's that simple.

We've upped the norm in hostel accommodation with our latest cosy and gorgeous addition, offering a fusion of hotel style facilities and all the fun and character of a hostel.

Our talents include clean, comfy, secure ensuite rooms ranging from 1 to 12 beds, fluffy pillows and sparkling funky surroundings.

Our light breakfast is available ALL day and ALL night and, of course, is FREE. Yummy! There's nothing like a late night cuppa and a slice or two of toast to set you on your way to dreamland. We only use Fairtrade tea and coffee.

Located in the vibrant Jewellery Quarter in the heart of the city, the hostel is within walking distance of all local and national transport as well as all of the undiscovered gems, culture and nightlife that Birmingham has to offer. We're a 10 minute walk from Broad Street. It may be a waste of time going there since some of the best bars in Birmingham are located a stones throw away from the hostel in the Jewellery Quarter. The Actress & Bishop and Jools Hollands Jam House for example.

We've picked our staff from the obsessed-about-Birmingham tree and now they're here waiting, bursting with insider information and desperate to help you discover everything that make us fall in love with it. We're seasoned travellers ourselves, having stayed and worked in hostels the world over. Check our staff rating! People love us because we love you.

The ONLY Hostel in Birmingham with 24 Hr Reception and 24 Hr Security. The only hostel in town with 3 security doors between you and your comfy bed. Of course, we're also the only hostel that has Key Card Access for all our rooms. Our lovely night porter is here to ensure only people staying in the hostel get in and also to solve the worlds problems and have a chat if you stumble home at silly o'clock. If you ask nicely he might even tuck you in. Well maybe not but it's worth a try!!!!

We are just a short train ride from Shakespeare's birthplace 'Stratford Upon Avon', the popular theme park 'Alton Towers' and we have a secret bonus up our sleeves for all you chocolate fans- All our guests get an amazing 30% off tours to the world-famous Cadbury World!!!

An ideal base for football fans going to Aston Villa games in Villa Park, Birmingham City games in St. Andrews & with Wolverhampton 15 minutes by train perfect for Wolves games too or even the DFS Classic Tennis Tournament @ Edgbaston Priory Club

The FA Cup was also made here and although we haven't found any silverware yet, we've not given up hope!!

It will be fantastic when it is finished. The dorm rooms are to a very high standard of cleanliness. There was no communal area but it is in the process of being renovated. I would definatly stay here again. the staff could not do enough for me.
