This hostel is in a great location, just a block from the Russell Square tube stop and a short walk to the British Museum and Library. This is a rather large hostel, and it does have a little of an institutional feel. Each room has bunk beds with privacy curtains, lockers and a sink. Toilets are scattered on each floor, but showers are located in the basement in a locker room type setting. Everything was very clean and it felt safe and secure.

This is a rather large hostel, and it does have a little of an institutional feel. Each room has bunk beds with privacy curtains, lockers and a sink. Toilets are scattered on each floor, but showers are located in the basement in a locker room type setting. Everything was very clean and it felt safe and secure. Computers were available with internet access for a charge. There is a large common room and laundry facilities. It seemed like many people were living here on a temporary basis while working at nearby hospitals. After staying in three different hostels in London, this is the one I would definitely return to.

Directions
Smart Russell Square is a just behind Russell Square Tube Station. Just turn left out of the station then 2nd left into Guildford Street, walk on Guildford Street 20m to number 71.
