About Millett Guesthouse
A traditional Carcassonne townhouse, situated in the heart of the main town known as 'Bastide Saint-Louis'
Ideally located near ‘Place Carnot’ square, which hosts regular local produce markets and is surrounded by many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The famous ‘Canal midi’ and Carcassonne’s medieval fortified city ‘La Cite’ are both in walking distance.
The accommodation:
The guesthouse offers a relaxed and comfortable environment from which to explore Carcassonne and the historic Languedoc region.
The bedrooms are spacious, simply furnished, clean and airy. All rooms are furnished as twin rooms; extra beds are available for groups wishing to share.
There is a communal bathroom and a lounge area. There is also a courtyard at the rear of the house.
Price per person per night is 28Euros which includes a continental breakfast

We were welcomed warmly and delighted with the location of the property. The rooms basic as expected, breakfast was good but could have done with another towel. Work was going on in the
courtyard and hopefully when completed would make your stay more pleasureable if you wanted to use it.

We found this guest house as a recommendation on Travellerspoint. The booking process was simple, and the owners (Meei and Richard) were very welcoming when we arrived. They gave us a map and oriented us to the city's highlights including a couple of nearby restaurants. The location (in the downtown Bastide Saint Louis area) is excellent and while the services are basic (twin beds, simple furnishings, shared bathroom), the price and value for money can't be beat! We also really enjoyed the delicious French breakfast of pastries, juice and coffee or tea that Meei served us every morning.

A Delightful Guest house, Meei & Richard made us so welcome & offered great tips on where to go, what to see etc, very knowledgeable about Carcasonne & it's history.
Our room was clean, quiet & very comfy...it is ideally situated for the medevial cite, the train station & has easy links via the shuttle bus to Carcasonne airport. Highly recommended !!!
