Hotel Ingeborg

Great location for single woman travelling on her own. I just wanted a bed to sleep in - so not interested in any extra facilities. Very safe area - ok getting there at night. Good variety close by for places to eat. The included breakfast was wonderful - buffet style - kept me going all day.

About Hotel Ingeborg

Hotel Pension Ingeborg is located in the very central area of the western part of Berlin, close to the Kurfuerstendamm. The world famous shopping mall of Berlin is within walking distance of the hotel. Kurfuerstendamm or just short Ku´damm offers everything you could possibly want - hundreds of different boutiques, stores, and various cafes and restaurants. It is a perfect place to spend time with your friends and enjoy life to the fullest since all the best bars and clubs are open from dusk till dawn.

Our hotel is especially excellent for groups and school trips. There are 30 beds in 10 triple, double and single rooms. Some of the rooms are equipped differently: rooms with shower and toilet, rooms with shower and toilet in the corridor . Our big and comfortable breakfast hall can also be used as a nice entertainment room. All guests receive complimentary breakfast.

Very clean - good supply of hot water. 5-10 min walk to public transport - 20 minute walk to zoo. (public transport gets you there quicker)

The hotel is conveniently located right off of Ku'damm, where you can find restaurants and shops. The closest U-bahn stations are a 5-10 minute walk, the closest S-bahn station is a 5 minute walk. The hotel room was very clean and very nicely decorated. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast good as well (very nice selection of cold meats and cheeses, tea, coffe, juice, cereals and bread). The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building but thankfully there's a 100 year old elevator still in use. This was a cool experience, it only holds about four persons, but it works!

Overall we were very pleased with what we got. For the price and location it was well worth it and recommend it to anyone on a budget.
