This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Initial room was up four flights of stairs, no top sheet, towel or loo role, wc had not been cleaned for God knows how long, paid for taxi to and from airport for trip to Srinagar and requested room change on return. No taxi on return, had to pay for a cab from the airport to find my room hadn't been changed. Eventually got moved with a free towel and top sheet but had to pay for loo roll. Unfortunately the ground floor is the noisiest I have come across in 9 months of travelling, definitely needs sound proofing. The hotel travel desk sold me tickets for Agra and Delhi city tour. The Agra tour was a disaster apart from the Fort and Taj Mahal. I was taken from the hotel 20 minutes late, on a motor bike through side alleys, on a minibus, then had to cross a dangerous main road on to a coach, before having to re-cross the road to join another coach. When we set off on the "Luxury A/C Coach", it had rattling windows, hardly any suspension and all announcements in Hindi. Journey further enhanced by young lady in front of me being sick out of the open window. "Tour" ended with being dropped off in Delhi over a mile from my hotel at 01:45 in the morning. I was picked up for the next day tour and taken on foot, up filthy side alleys stopping to pick up another customer, when I was told it was another 10-15 minutes walk to the bus, I decided enough was enough , and returned to hotel. Still waiting for refund,
