Hotel Le Fioriere, Amalfi Coast, Italy

We were well looked after - friendly hosts, clean rooms, nice breakfast and wonderful views. The only disappointment was our mistaken belief that we could catch ferries to other places along the Amalfi coast from Praiano. However, overall a lovely place to stay.

The Hotel was built in the 1980 by Michele Irace once he returned to his land after living thirty years in Brooklyn New York . He named the Hotel after the flowers whose variety and colour are typical part of this Mediterranean area. Le Fioriere family run, is a 14 rooms 3 stars boutique hotel situated in a central position, few meters away from restaurants, shops and places of interest. One of those is the beautiful church of “San Gennaro” with his majolica “Piazza” overlooking the sea, then the enchanting creek of La Gavitella, and Marina di Praia with his typical fisherman’s atmosphere that are just minutes away. The son Luigi and Rosalia will help you to organize your trips and reserve for you tickets for concerts at Ravello the City of The Music or your personalized walk on the spectacular and stunning “Path of the Gods” . Regular ferries are leaving from Positano to Capri and Ischia Private boat excursions will let you discover the secret beaches and caves along the coast. Being the bus stop just in front the Hotel you can easily visit Amalfi , Ravello , Positano , Sorrento. The historical sites of Pompei and Ercolano are one hour away as well as Naples with his museums church’s and Mediterranean colours and lifestyle. The breakfast at Le Fioriere makes the difference we serve it either in the room or in our Bar area at any time.
