We stayed in a nice room, friendly, breakfast was good though in a small room. Rooms have air conditioning but they were still quite hot, we had to empty the condensation water quite regularly.

The rooms all of recent restructure are cured personally and with love by the owner Benito Fortino, Luigi Fortino and its family.
The premises are exactly situated in full city center.

After a few hours (april) of comparing adresses in travel guides and online, me and my girlfriend decided to book one night at the Relais Centro Storica B&B in Pisa.
When we arrived with our bags (july), the man behind the desk was surprised, read our booking confirmation many times, watched his computer for about 10minutes nodding "no".
Finally, it turned out that a mistake was made by "his friend" and the room was double booked (he only spoke Italian and a few words of English so we didnt quite understand what exactly had gone wrong).
He made a phone call to the nearby "Hotel Astor" where we could spend the night, including breakfast, for the price we were supposed to pay at the B&B (53euro, whereas the Astor price would be 75euro). The hotel was very basic but clean btw.
Conclusion: B&B looked nice from the outside, great location, but unpleasant surprise of double booking. He helped us out immediately though by arranging another room for the same money.
