This is a Trusted Review. Why?
I had booked a dorm bed for three nights. When I arrived I was told that there was an age restriction of 40 on dorm accommodation. I was offered a single room at a reduced rate but this still increased my costs by 75 euros. I was also liable for the first nights stay since I had not given 48 hrs notice! Feeling I was in a no win situation I stayed.

It is on the email conformation but you only get that after booking!
The kitchens are small but nice but would struggle to cope with full occupation. The kitchen and terrace are the only communal areas and locked at 10 pm so its a pretty dismal in your room evening. The internet did not work. A poor hostel experience.

Colors is located at Via Boezio,31, just north of the Vatican. From Stazione Termini, take the A line of the Metro to Ottaviano/San Pietro (going in the direction of Battistini).
At the exit, turn around and follow Viale Giulio Cesare for three blocks. Turn right on Via Fabio Massimo.
Walk six more blocks (these are small ones, and won't take that long) ,and take a left on Via Boezio.
Colors will be on your right.
