Resort Hotel DAINA, Jurmala, Latvia

The spa Hotel Daina is located in a quiet part of Jurmala resort zone 120 meters far from the shore of the Gulf of Riga. The building was built in 1988 and reconstructed in 2004 – 2007. The architecture and location of Hotel Daina allows its guests to feel a real resort atmosphere.

It is very easy to get to our town from any country of the world. International airport “Riga” is only 15 km far from Jurmala. It takes 30 minutes to get from Riga center to Jurmala by a commuter train or by a minibus.

Primary merits of Jurmala – historical environment, nature, architecture, historical and artistic heritage, museums, cultural institutions and resort facilities; traditional culture of communication generated by local community. In Jurmala there are various opportunities for recreation, health improvement, entertainment and sport activities for a full year, although the peak season is, by all means, summer time.

For guests, who wish to combine the useful with the pleasing – mineral baths, curative showers, muds and other opportunities of spa medicine are available.

You can take a train from Riga Central Train Station (ticket costs 0,73 LVL one way), a small taxi bus 'Riga-Sloka' (ticket - 1,40 LVL one way) from across the street from Origo shopping center (next to the central train station) or a bus from Intercity Bus Station. You need the station or bus stop Melluzi. There is also a bus from Riga International Airport, called Jurmala Airport Shuttle (one way ticket - 2, 00 LVL), but it goes only till Dubulti. So, you will need to change for another bus or the train to reach Melluzi.

Of course, you can also take a taxi but it will cost you around 20 LVL from the Airport and 25 LVL from Riga center.
