The premiere street of a center - Gedimino Avenue full of restaurants and shops - is just beyond one block. So it perfectly isolates you from the flow of people and noise. All places of interest in the Old town are in a walking distance from your apartment. Moreover, the pearls of the Old town - the Cathedral and Gediminas castle are visible through your window. Comfortable, secure and clean apartments are fully furnished and equipped. The kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, teapot, glass-ceramic stove, utensils and other necessary tableware (self-catering apartments). The apartments feature a flat-screen television, cable TV, wireless internet access. Bath towels and bed linens are provided. Free parking in the protected courtyard. The owner is very kind and polite and the location is perfect (just a few steps from Katedral Square and the main Gedimino avenue).
But the flat is so old (not all the lamps in the living room working and the "sign of the time" is very evident on the walls and furnitures).
Furthermore, it's very bad equipped: not even a wardrobe in the bedroom, just one little pot for cooking and, within the few plates and glasses available in the kitchen, not even 1 of them has....the same form and colour!!!I'm in Vilnius very often and since years, also for my work. So, I'm used to rent apartments for my stay. But my expectations are much higher.
It was the first time that I booked this flat in Tilto street through Travellerspoint and, because of what I said above, it's incredible that it costs the same (or a little more) than other ones much better equipped and centrally located!
Honestly, the real value of this apartment should be max. Euro 30/35 per night, and not Euro 54 like I've paid.
This is the typical problem related to the huge difference between the pictures showed in the web sites and the real status of the premises....
But, of course, it also depends on what a guest looks for:
my style and my expectations have been not satisfied for what I found in this flat.
At the end, I wouldn't recommend it.

We could not have asked for a more perfect location of the apartment - right in the very heart of the Old Town of Vilnius. We could actually see Gediminas Castle from our window! Not to mention the location, the apartment was clean, cosy, quiet, had all the necessities needed for comfortably living, cooking and eating, as well as a nice power shower to wake you up in the mornings. The polite and friendly staff added to this pleasant experience. And Very good value for money too. We will certainly be using Apartment Vilnius next time we visit this beautiful city. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 2 nights in Vilnius apartments and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is a studio size but has an amazing walk in shower which you wouldnt get in a five star hotel down the road!. The apt is located within minutes walking to the main sights of the new town including the main cathedral and hill. Easily accessed by trolleybus and bus. We enjoyed a coffee at our door step. Probably not great if you are a light sleeper or want a sleep in as traffic gets busy outside around 7.30am.
