This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The location is perfect, just 5-10 minutes walk to the Tiananmen square so much is within walking distance. The room were ok, nothing extraordinary but nothing bad. Free internet in the room but only via cable. Both restaurants were quite nice, tasty and worth the money. I really enjoyed the book case in the viewing bar with guide books to read on site and also books for swapping.

Overall a nice place; affordable, good location and nice restaurants.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Perfect location and a exceptional price with facilities for most westerners at a reasonable price too. Restaurants attached are a bit expensive for the area but clean and english speaking. Rooms cleaned superficially however significant dust underneath beds.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

I really liked this hotel over all other places I stayed in Beijing. This is big hotel with lift, free towels, very clean, nice people. WIFI only works in the lobby and computer room. The computer room is good with table and comfortable chairs. If you do not have a laptop, you need to pay 1 YUAN for 6 mnutes of internet usage. Washing machine and drying machine helped me few hours before I left Beijing :)
I highly recommend this place over others. This has been the best place so far :)

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The place is very clean. We were surprised to have a king sized bed, which was great. The room was small, but adequate. Lights were dim. The free breakfast was not very good: two kinds of cereal, awful/watery tang-like orange juice/drink, hard boiled eggs, a few Chinese dishes we never tried, and white bread toast. The coffee drinks started at $2 and then went to $3 - $4, but they were good and actually cost less than the Satrbucks and other coffee shops in Beijing.

Changing US dollars to RMB was a better rate at the hotel than at The Bank of China a couple of blocks away.

Be forwarned: the music was incredibly loud on Saturday night on the 6th floor. We were on the 3rd floor and the walls were rattling until 2:00 am. They had originally wanted to place us on the 6th floor, but after telling us there'd be a late night of music, we were fortunate to get a room on the 3rd floor. I can't imagine anyone on the 6th floor was able to fall asleep until the music turned off.

You'll need to buy bottled water to drink and brush teeth with. They sell large bottles for 6 RMB, but you can find these n small stores nearby for 4 RMB. Also, they wanted to sell us tickets for an acrobatics show at Chaoyang for 160 RMB, but we were able to buy our own tickets via the internet for 100 RMB...great show!!
